Dr. Prométhée Spathis is an associate professor at Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC) since 2005. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from UPMC in 2003. He has a 18-year-long experience in Education. He has started in 1998 as a university educator teaching computer science courses for initial and continuing training programmes. He has contributed to the design and implementation of several International and European Bachelor and Master programs in Computer Science. Over the years, he has developed a special interest in designing education and training systems featuring a high degree of flexibility in response to the fast changes in ICT and to new competence requirements. He defended his Habilitation thesis (HDR) in 2016. His main research interest is in the study of data kinematics in large-scale mobile systems.
