Travel Information

The 2nd CoreGRID Workshop on GRID and Peer to Peer Systems Architecture will take place in LIAFA, Université Paris 7, Paris, France on the 16-17 January 2006.

LIAFA

LIAFA is located at 175 rue du Chevaleret, at the corner of rue Clisson. It's a 9 floors building covered with brown tilings (which makes it impossible to miss).

The closest metro station is Chevaleret (line 6), which you exit to the left. You then walk across Boulevard Vincent Auriol into rue du Chevaleret, perpendicular to the metro railway line. The building stands at the end of the block, to the right.

It is also possible to use metro line 14 and stop at Bibliothèque François Mitterrand, and go down rue du Chevaleret (exit metro to your right and walk under the bridge).

Bus 27 also stops close by, at the corner of rue Jeanne d'Arc and rue Clisson. From there, it's a 5 minute walk through rue Clisson. Bus 62 runs close to Bibliothèque station.

Airports to LIAFA

  • To reach LIAFA from the Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport, the easiest is to take RER line B (all trains go to Paris) up to Denfert-Rochereau RER station (about 35 minutes), and then change to metro line 6. Alternatively, you can train Roissy Bus or airline shuttles to reach paris, and then use metro or bus.
  • To reach LIAFA from the Orly airport, the easiest is to take the Orly Bus that stops at Denfert-Rochereau station (about 15 minutes), and then change to metro line 6. Alternatively, you can take the Orly Val to reach line B of the RER and then go to Denfert-Rochereau station. Airline shuttles are also available to reach Paris.
