Highlights
The CUDEN project fits perfectly within the framework of the STIC AmSud program as it provided French and South American partners with a way to integrate research efforts and to foster the exchange of ideas, researchers, students, and research results and federate new collaborations.
As regard with the scientific objectives, the outcomes of CUDEN project are three-fold: we propose the design of three protocols namely GrAnt, DTTP, and RON. Second, we propose two methods to evaluate the performance of CUDEN protocols. The first involves analyzing real users mobility traces while the second is based on validation and verification techniques. Finally, we tackle the problem of optimizing our work in the context of challenged wireless environments such as DTNs or opportunistic networks. We provide monitoring techniques for DTNs characterization and algorithms to improve user experience. We also address the problem of network resources management. Those techniques are intended to adapt communications to network’s dynamics and resources while improving user experience.
